First time staying here. I have seen this hotel transformed and I like the upgrades. Very convenient location close to grocery shopping, restaurants and light rail station. The rooms are spacious with microwave and refrigerator. They always have coffee and serve continental breakfast. Secure location and friendly staff. Much better than staying at a Motel 6 and fair price on what you get. They have vending machines on every floor plus laundry facility on the ground floor. The rooms are clean, they have what we need, the price is reasonable. If you are looking for lodging at a reasonable price in the El Cerrito/Richmond area, I think you will be happy at the Mira Vista. There is a Denny's nearby that has great breakfast options.
I was in el cerrito for 2 nights and since my little dog stayed home I was able to stay at the mira vista. This hotel was perfect. Clean and safe.
Good place, small but good. Train station and a small mall nearby
