Loved my stay! The Louie is a beautiful boutique hotel with spacious rooms and tons of character. The valet is across the street but super responsive. One concierge seemed a little lost at times but was still very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great experience — I’d definitely stay again!
My wife and I splurged on a Junior Suite, only to be informed upon arrival that it was unavailable due to “maintenance issues.” We arrived around noon, well before the 4 PM check-in time, and were told we’d still receive a suite, albeit without a fireplace, along with a $75 credit for the inconvenience. Just reopened after being refurbished and VERY nicely done.
Overall we had a really great stay here. It is right across the street from the Davenport historic hotel where they have the valet parking. From when we pulled up the service was really good with valet. The great service continued at check-in with Malachi. He is great for the job and knows how to talk to customers and provide good service. The Louie was very cute and unique. I will say that the elevators could use a little updating. Malachi is a saint here. What a true gentleman that knows how to give great customer service. I truly appreciated his warm, welcome and being able to assist with my special request to the best of his ability this type of energy is what every hotel establishment needs the room is clean and well sized. I love how quiet it has been but most importantly I truly enjoyed the customer service here. Thank you Malachi. I apologize if that is not how you spell your name. 🤓
