This place is a bucket list item for my wife and I and we just stayed 3 nights at the Lautner compound and it was Amazing!! It truly is an oasis in the desert, the design is amazing, the light is amazing, the tranquility is amazing, and the furnishings were well, amazing. The hotel owners totally understand and respect the John Lautner ethos. Run don't walk to make a reservation and you will be so glad you did.
700 Dollars for a minimum two nights stay. Where to begin? First they steal 5 hours from your booking (check in at 4pm!?! Check out at 11am!). Don't dare to bring children, but dogs are welcome to leave their hairs everywhere for the next guest. Why anybody would fall for this is beyond me especially given the fact that the location of this Motel is what looks like Methville and nowhere near the attractions of Palm Springs or Joshua Tree.
