The water pressure in the showers here is incredible. Will never stay anywhere else in downtown Houston again.
Love it Love the old world feel of the Icon. The rooms are fabulous and the beds are heavenly. Great for a romantic night out and is in the heart of Downtown Houston.
What a gem! Recently went to Houston for the first time for a conference. The hotel that the conference was being held was booked so I needed to find another place to stay. I found the hotel Icon on line and I am glad that I did! It is a beautiful hotel that is full of character and charm. All of the people that worked there were fabulous! The area around the hotel was nice. If you wanted to explore Houston there was a driving service that would drive you and pick you up. I had a lovely time.
Hotel Icon has character Houston hotel in downtown - it was an old building converted into the hotel. This place has character ... not to mention that the luncheon i attended here was well done - food and set up was excellent. The bar and restaurant are really cool!
They have one of the better hotel fitness centers I've seen.

Cute rooms, huge bathroom and a GREAT gym.
Spent only one night here. Located in the heart of Downtown Houston. I liked the feel of this old renovated building, it's charming atmosphere and the nice, cozy rooms. Overall a good stay.
