The service here was top-notch. I accidentally left behind a treasured ring--didn't realize it until I was on the train to Philly. Called and the staff immediately tracked it down and ensured it was delivered back to me promptly. There was no delay between calls, emails to arrange shipping, etc--and throughout it all they were very understanding. My room was nice. The lighting was limited so it was quite dark. My just and I completed 2 nights at Hotel Giraffe. The hotel was very comfortable and has a bit of a European vibe that is quite relaxed and relaxing. The continental breakfast was healthy, light and tasty. The coffee is excellent, with expresso and cappuccino options. Snacks and coffee are available for free 24 hours a day. Kind and very conscientious staff. The hotel is feeling its age though - the furnishings and window coverings are the same from the 2010s and need a refresh. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. The room we stayed in was awkward despite being a suite - the bathroom window is clear so you can see people on the toilet (just install frosted glass or a window curtain!) and there are four doors within a foot of each other so someone is always in the way at the door of the closet or the bathroom or the bedroom.
