We stayed at Hotel Giraffe in a Classic King Suite and appreciated how spacious and comfortable the room was. The layout worked very well for us, and having that extra space in New York is always a plus. The hotel has a warm, boutique feel and the location is excellent. This is an expensive hotel even by NYC standards, but it's now our favorite because it's quiet, convenient, and we never have any headaches. The parking is hassle-free, the help is great, and we really like the room we usually get (we ask for it specifically). The common area adjacent to the lobby is very comfortable as well.
The property was in a superb location. It felt safe at every time of day/night and it is very near to KTown and even Time Square. I walked everywhere when we stayed here and it was the perfect central location to just about everywhere. The property itself was clean and the room was phenomenal. The hotel rooms are quite spacious for NYC standards. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. My stay was good with minor hiccups that were beyond anyone's control - the hotel staff helped address it adequately. A few minor opportunities for improvement, even though I will likely still stay here again when I am in NYC: 1. Provide body lotion in the room 2. Test the faucets, shower-head, etc in the bathroom to fix leaks, etc
