They were not transparent about additional fees, I was told at the desk and in my booking that all fees had already been paid but then didn’t get refunded my card hold after and was only told after I reached out that it was the resort fee and that I wouldn’t be getting it back. The rooms are very outdated and musky and we had a lot of trouble with the water not draining in the shower and toilet and the fan to get rid of shower steam was not working. A/C didn’t work during my stay. I asked if someone could check it out while I was gone for the day and instead came home to an 80° room. Had to sleep with the doors open to try to cool down, which obviously led to no sleep given the sounds of Manhattan outside. The second night I also came home to a mystery stain on the sheets, which I just lived with because it was late. The employees were very nice, but I would not stay here again (or at least I’d call ahead of time to make sure their systems are all working as they should... read more
Older hotel on Park Avenue South. Very well kept up, staff very accommodating, and location was convenient to the places we were going.
