Everything was great! Valet staff was fas, helpful, and kind. Left something in the car and they went and grabbed it for me immediately.

Shout out to Bryan at the valet. I wasn’t even valeting my car, and he got a luggage rack for me and loaded my luggage for me. When I asked for a digital method to tip him, he said not to worry about it. Very impressed with the service and genuine niceness he showed me!

Every thing here was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Paris and his team of valet were hands down the best team of professionals I've seen. They had a cart ready and helped unload our luggage, escorted us to the front desk and made sure we were taken care of. The check in was easy and seamless. The room was luxurious, clean, and spacious. The breakfast in bed was convenient and delicious. I will stay here everytime I'm in Des Moines from now on.

Awesome stay. Really. I skip all places marked “historic” because the have bad room layouts, bad elevators, super old decor/appliances/bathrooms and generally bad service. Not this place. This is fully renovated into a modern property. Like new. Only complaint was the elevator was thin - low capacity. And service in restaurant was S L O W W W W W. but just down the street is a nicer place with awesome food and service called “Bubbas”. For business stay, I’d definitely stay here.
