Single payer just doesn't work. Been here for more than 6 hours with a broken foot. In the USA, this would have been a $180 visit and I would have been in and out in a half hour. Waste my whole day, Parking tickets and all. It just doesn't work.
I received amazing service in the urgent care section! I’ve had to go in for extremely pelvic pain and when I explained I have severe anxiety with hospitals they continued to check up on me here and there in the waiting room to make sure I was okay. The doctor was also very kind and compassionate with my discomfort. They take women’s health very serious without judgement. Even if the results are inconclusive they still believe your pain and do not dismiss it! I highly recommend the urgent care centre.
The ultrasound technician was kind and helpful and didn't get upset when my coffee spilled
I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Nakamura yesterday with his resident Dr Melanson. They were both extremely thorough, knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. This clinic is one of the best, from front staff to the Doctors - they offer wonderful care to their patients!
I wouldn’t give a single star if I could!! The health care in Kingston is NON-EXISTENT & the entire province is much worse than in any country of the developing world! Coming at lunch time I was THE LAST to leave!!🥵 Most of the lights were down, people were gone and security locked the door. After waiting for a half day, I came home in a nearly starvation comma.
