Valet nowhere to be found upon arrival .Called told to pull up .Nowhere to park .Had to stay with flshers on Dearborn and get out to find the "VALET" standing against door . Expressed under new management mreally couldn't do anything. I asked if he could move some cars to park ours UNTIL the garage and company came back to park. Then the "bell hop" dis not help with our luggage just sat and played with his phone and smelt like a pack of cigarettes. The room was nice and spacious. Plus the location is in walking distance from quite a few attractions in the city
Its a small and lovely hotel, very close to the blue line CTA station as well as Chicago Public Library ( 2 mins away) Strands park is about 15 mins walking. Well connected to the bus network as well. Friendly staff and overall decent sized rooms.
Location is great. Lots of stuff in walking distance. Felt sort of cramped inside. We had a sewer smell in our room at one point, but it cleared up eventually.
