Hotel Bijou This is a cool movie-themed hotel in the heart of San Francisco. The rooms were surprisingly low priced and the complimentary breakfast was realy good. Beds weren't all that comfy tho.

ok hotel, great location The hotel is not as nice as the picture would make you believe. But it is still pretty nice with a different more "hip" feel. The room we stayed in is small but when you're in SF, you won't spend too much time in the room anyway. We asked for a non-smoking room but when we first got in, it kind of have a smoky smell. It went away after we opened the window for a bit. The service is good. But the best thing about this place is its location. Not like I thought it would be The elevators and the hotel in the pictures looked much nicer. There was pretty good service here though. The restaurant here was pretty good too. The room was small and not very cozy, and the bathroom was small too. I liked that there were few disturbances during the night. Only about $140 a night though. Probably won't stay here again.

great location, okay decor This is a quirky hotel. We stayed here for one night when we had plans in the city. It is conveniently located just down the street from the ACT theater (where we had tickets for a show). The room decor was basically metal office furniture...very minimalistic. If you had to open the window, it was pretty loud with the street noise. The bathroom was nicer than the room (I thought).
