Matt was amazing recognized a bad situation in the hotel and wanted to make the situation right. The hotel is lucky to have someone who cares enough about the guest and the business.
Undisclosed $45/night "resort fee" which was explained to me as for the 2 bottles of water and the shuttle (we used neither) and undisclosed $55/night per vehicle fee. Would have been an extra $220 for the two of us just for parking our cars for two nights, so we parked a mile away. An extra undisclosed $310 for a 2-night stay for parking and drinking water is not ok. Blatantly deceptive and extremely dishonest business practices. Never experienced this anywhere else.
We had an incredible anniversary weekend at the Hotel Alpenrock, and a massive thank you to Corbin! He was so supportive and went above and beyond to make sure our weekend was perfect. If you're planning a stay, look for Corbin, he's the best. Highly recommend and we will absolutely visit again!
Awesome!! Just awesome. Walked everywhere: to town, to hiking. The rooms are pristine. (I travel all the time for work, so I speak from experience) Easy parking, easy check-in. The views are stunning. We’re booking our next trip here soon.
Alpenrock has a great location for everything! We stayed in the summer and were able to walk right to beautiful trailheads for morning (or all day) hikes right from the hotel (Burro Trail and Select 10 trail recommended!). We also walked up the ski hill right to the Breck Stables and jumped on horses for a tour through the woods. To cap it all off we walked right into downtown a few times. It is all very close and made for a fun stay. The rooms are bigger than normal which is great for a family of 4.
