Not good. They made me get a referral even though my insurance doesn't need one, which I did. They said they would get back to me regarding the referral I sent to them. They never did. Then when I called them, they refused to see my kid because the referral was from a telemed doc instead of a primary, which we don't have. The entire referral requirement is a waste of time and money since most private insurance doesn't even require referrals for specialists, and the issue is an obvious ENT matter. Unnecessary Referral Process - Waste of Time and Money. I had a very disappointing experience trying to see Dr. Monte. I was told that a referral from my primary care doctor was required, but the whole process felt unnecessarily complicated and drawn-out. The ladies at the office and Dr. Monte make you jump through hoops to even get an appointment. Then they say they’ll call you back, but do not. Then they make you get a referral and then ultimately say they will not see us. Then they refer us to Little Rock and say they will not forward the referral to the other office. Shall we say ‘lazy’ or don’t give a crap?
