Simply Awful! – Requested "rare" steak and was served well done meat of unknown origin. Silverware was crusted and spotted. With reservations and 3 empty tables we were shown the worsttable in the house next to the front entrance. Frowns and annoyed looks followed our attempts to change tables. The desert, a "cheesecake" was inedible , as agreed by 3 diners at our table and the folks at the next table also stated they would never return.
Simply the best in Westchester – Hostaria Mazzei is without a doubt the finest authentic Italian restaurant in all of Westchester County. The ownership stays true to Italian tradition serving some of the finest dishes I have ever had in this area. It gives me the feeling of dining in someone's home everytime I eat there. Dominic, Guissepi and Vito have a real winner here. I recommend Hostaria Mazzei highly!
