We bought our 2018 Host Mammoth from Apache RV in Portland, Oregon. We absolutely love it! We were so close to buying a super C motorhome and stumbled on this camper by accident at an Rv show. So glad we did! The craftsmanship and design are award winning in our book! And the best part my 6'5" husband doesnt hit his head! So much room! So so happy we bought it!
We reluctantly sold our HOST after almost 5 years of pure enjoyment. We are moving onto a RV. While trying to sell our HOST we encountered a problem acquiring a title for it since it always resided in states that don't title truck campers. It took a lot of work on my part, but without the wonderful crew at HOST we would've been paying the state of UT $2,000 and waiting 3 + months to get a title. I did the leg work, got lucky in some cases and HOST helped us out and went above and beyond. Now I just wish they built Motorhomes... read more
We had waited and waited and finally got a chance to see the mamouth by host. We were sure this was the truck camper we have been waiting for. Well we were so very disappointed with the entrance door. It was so slim that it was a complete and total deal breaker for us. Love the layout inside, but really wasn't as good a quality as we expected especially for the price. We were told by the dealer that all the host doors are small. We're very happy with our 2017 Host Everest. There have been some issues, but Host has come through, in stellar form, to address them, Together with Princess Craft (Round Rock, TX) we couldn't ask for a better support team. While we have pretty much filled up the massive basement slide-out, we're still working on filling up the deceptively spacious storage areas in the camper. We took delivery of our 2018 Host Mammoth on Oct 2. We went on a "shake down" trip lasting a month and found a few minor things that needed attention. We sent our dealer TruckCamperWarehouse an e-mail and received a response the next day from Bill Penny the owner. He in turn contacted Host. To my surprise I received a phone call the next evening from Dave Hogue, one of the owners of Host. He answered our concerns and sent me replacement parts. Talk about customer service ???
