every time a student moveout all they do is mop the floor and the next student is let in. i dont know even when last time these apartment were repainted. they dont care about everything considering we pay a lot of money. a lot of bugs in the apartment because they dont even do pesticides after one student move out. walls are dusty as crazy. umkc you need to do better. refrigerators are like we live in 1990 very small hard to fit food of two people. refrigerators are not large enough to hold two roommate food. not safe place ... read more

Not sure how to review what's essentially a dorm apartment building that I stayed for for a one-week history teacher's session... it's *fine*. Ok location, but just a bit too far from conveniences. Ok space, but not furnished (this might not be your problem if you're living in it as a resident vs a temporary thing). Staff I met were nice. Pro tip—make sure you go down to Pilgrim Coffee if you're in the area.
The staff is mostly hands-off, which is typical of a living community centered towards students ready for independent living. The programs that are offered are engaging and fun, and having a gym downstairs is a plus so you don't have to go all the way to campus. Res Life staff is positive and courteous. My major complaint is that there seems to be an insect problem within the complex.
