My family member is in the hospital right now with vomiting and diarrhea blood. Ten hours, once seen by a doctor, no Gastroenterology, he had surgery 10 days ago. They gave him a chest X-ray. This is NOT the best hospital
This emergency room is not good, they put you in the hallway with no privacy and the nurses are rude especially the black heavy set. Go to another one if you don’t want to be laying in a hallway for 3 hours before a doctor see you. Go somewhere else. Your life and health matters.
MMC has gone downhill in recent years. Education on Type One Diabetics should be REQUIRED to work in the ER department. I unfortunately had to go to the ER due to uncontrolled vomiting and risk of Diabetic Ketoacidosis as I am a **TYPE ONE** diabetic. I felt extremely confused, dizzy and was having a hard time formulating my thoughts. I felt the doctors in the ER were extremely dismissive and ignored my worries of high ketones and also rushed me when trying to get my words in order.
