Our daughter who was classified as “homeless” because she had a substance abuse problem and had left our home after an amputation procedure at Wake Forest Baptist, she checked into HP Regional. After further treatment and more surgery, she was basically kicked out after discharge with no plan in place for after care by the social worker team. Spent all day Saturday May 30th with family taking rotations visiting a very sick family member. We all took shifts rotating in and out with her. During the day shift the ICU nursing staff was amazing. Especially Taylor; 10/10 yall need to give her a raise, bonus and some extra vacation days! We were there from around 10:30 until close to 6:30 and decided to head home and come back Sunday. Dont bother wasting your time, they will just reschedule you the day before your appointment . 6 months of getting rescheduled. Glad to see our Healthcare doing its job.
My mother was admitted. They must be short handed. In her room she requested a cup of water they said we'll get it to you. They didn't bring her one until the next morning. This hospital seems more concerned with the staff staying on there computer. It's hard to get them to come and help a fall risk patient. Ugh
