Horrible EMR. System always has a problem, especially at night time when I need it the most. Medication orders cannot be looked at nor faxed. System is down again. No phone support. Almost every night there is an issue. I am looking into other EMR systems. STAY AWAY FROM HOS MD.
We’ve been using HospiceMD for several years, and while it started off as a solid EMR, the quality has significantly declined over time. Lately, we’ve experienced constant technical issues, frequent system slowdowns, and frustrating service disruptions that directly affect patient care and staff workflow. Everyday at 2 am all systems stop working. I am not able to use the EMR at all. Everything must be done over the phone and it's very stressful. I want to find another EMR system that's more reliable when you need it.
Systems are down. Patient is dying but I have to call in every order to the pharmacy one by one. This delays patient care and affects their quality of life and my staff's as well. This is the 100th time the system has been lagging or not working at all.
I absolutely do not recommend trusting this business. They have made a cascade of huge mistakes over the last couple of weeks that have significantly impacted patient care. In response to this, they have posted many false promises of resolution as well as deflective and defensive announcements repeatedly without offering meaningful solutions. Please take your business elsewhere if you're looking for a reliable and professionally ran EMR. This company, unfortunately, isn't it.
