Hospice Services of Olathe Med were angels of mercy and were beyond amazing. I am in awe of them and am so grateful for their professional, compassionate and merciful care and support they gave during my husband's last 4 1/2 months.
My mom was under the care of Olathe Hospice for about 4 weeks: 2.5 wks while she was living independently and 1.5 wks in Assisted Living. Her case mgr./nurse, bath aide and massage therapist provided great care. However, some of the experiences we encountered with Olathe Hospice were stress inducing and disappointing. My mother, Joan, was on hospice for 4 months and we found this service to be extraordinary. Knowledgeable, caring nurses came regularly to our house to check up on Mom, wonderful help with showers was provided, pharmaceuticals were delivered promptly, a kind social worker visited regularly to make sure Mom understood and was prepared for the eventual, and even a massage tech visited weekly. I am not positive this is the correct site to write this. First off, would like to say Hospice House of Olathe was amazing. They gave the care for my dad and family I had hoped for. Kind, clean, compassionate. Thankful my dad was able to be there his last 2 days. My concern lies with Hospice of Olathe Originally we tried to bring him home with Hospice Care.
