Highly recommend this organization! They turned a stressful situation into a dignified ,comforting, painless end of life process. Melissa, LPN was wonderful and very knowledgeable. She was patient and explained everything step by step. From admissions to discharge everyone was wonderful! Cannot praise enough!
We got lucky and had the nicest nurse, ernesto, and none of the blame is going to him. when we had an emergency we where on hold for almost 40 minutes, and the lift assist ended up just telling us to call an ambulance. FIX THIS. it is rediculous that you cant get ahold of anyone in the event of an medical emergency, and after they finally picked up it took a good 10 minuted of repeating ourselves for the woman on the other end to type the name in, not to mention it took almost 10 minutes for her to connect us to a nurse.
My experience with Hospice was amazing from the moment I entered their Eisenhower office. They were present from that time forward with equipment, meds, nurses, aides, a chaplain and others who had a similar experience. My family and I thank Hospice for their professional and loving care during this most difficult time.
This is a very nice place all the way around. Nice outside, nice inside, wonderful staff. The best experience we've had out of 6 hospitals/care facilities. Very grateful. Highly recommended.
Hospice Savannah was instrumental in facilitating a professional, dignified, and caring end-of-life experience for my dear aunt, Christine H. and our family. They were truly the answer to our prayers, providing a team including nurses, a social worker, CNA’s, volunteers, etc. for us.
