My sweet Mama was with Hospice Savannah in my home for only a couple of months before she passed. Every single individual I came into contact with during this time was nothing short of an angel among humans. Nurse Patty was a saving grace and exactly who we needed. I just felt compelled to share my experience with this amazing team of social workers, nurses, administrators, and all of the care team with this facility and service. My mom has a very progressive Alzheimer's diagnosis and I have been beyond stressed caring for her alone without very many resources available to me. They helped with caregiving of my father (at home)from 2010-2011 when he passed. They hollered at me when I couldn't answer the phone, they expected me to have it right on me at all time (I had to get a phone belt clip to satisfy them). I was his caregiver, they didn't call a lot of times before they came. If I was eating when they came, they expected me to leave my food get cold and help them. He had Alzheimer's disease and sometimes they made it harder for me when I already had a lot on me.
