The nurses provided to us provided guidance and care and would check in on my father. They were available by phone to help coach us through different stages of death. The staff here helps to try and make the patient as comfortable as possible as well as provide support and coaching to the family members who were overseeing the few weeks of my father. No aids no real interest They provided morphine protocol Truly not great experience They are very very very short straffed and sorry I feel this way …….
Hospice Of Westchester has wonderful service, the nurses are attentive, knowledgeable, very responsive. They provide other services such as social, religious, and even massages to help my mom to rest comfortably at home. Even their MD comes by once a month, which is uncommon with other hospice services in the area. Very pleased with their service!!!
They don’t supply care aids on weekends. I guess they think people only die Monday-Friday. The nurses only come for vitals. Look elsewhere for end of life home care. Shameful business model.
My 95 year old mother started passing away on Thursday. She was enrolled in hospice Friday. I asked them to come and see if they could comfort her and they said we can't send anyone out until Monday. Guess what,. Mom died on Saturday. Three thumbs down for these guys who really don't seem to care . Their weekend is more important.
