We were so overwhelmed with both our parents care... Hospice of the valley was absolutely wonderful from the very beginning of the process. Lindsay was amazing helping us navigate paperwork, assessments and all the administrative requirements. Our nurse Vivienne was an absolute God send! I never thought I would be in a situation where my loved one would need Hospice care. Initially, I was overwhelmed. The first point of contact was a man who essentially had to be blunt about what was going to happen, he did this with compassion & empathy ( I’m sorry I do not remember his name). We have required the help of Hospice of the Valley once each for both of my parents. They were amazing with absolutely everything both times. From first contact to the delivery people setting up equipment to our nurse or the people that answer the “help me” late night phone line to the after hours delivery of medication. Sutter has excellent hospice care. My Mother was taking care by a very kind hearted and caring Nurse. I can’t speak enough of how well my mother was treated and care for in her final days. The comfort it provided for my family during this time meant a lot.
