Disappointed in the lack of services. No one contacted the family to inform them of the pending passing nor where they there for support at the time. The only call from the agency was 2 days after the fact by the chaplain with condolences. Patients and families deserve more in this personal, stressful time.

If you want your loved one to die by themselves, Vitas, a for profit hospice, is the place to choose. If you as an adult child want to be left alone to manage your dying parent, this is the place to choose. The staff are wonderful caring people. The management are dismal, running an understaffed hospice which will abandon the dying when they are no longer responsive. If you are in need of hospice or palliative services look no further! No other company can top Vitas care! The care and compassion the staff have for their patients is undeniably amazing! They understand the importance of being there when they are called. This is so important when dealing with a delicate situation like hospice care. They will by far exceed any expectations you may have for your loved ones end of life care.
