As I did much soul searching, I decided to give my honest review. After 1.5+ years with home healthcare, we decided to go with hospice because my dad is declining. The coordinator was great, but she canceled our home health services before the evaluation. The eval nurse didn't examine dad, but just conferred with me. She gave reasons for her denial of services, which didn't add up. Some of those reasons is partly because of the 24 hour care I do and arrange for him. I just wanted to post my Appreciation for the Excellent Care Hospice of South Louisiana provided for my loved one. They have Exceptional-Professional Caring Nurses and Staff. Ms. Julie our Hospice Nurse provided Loving Support, and Wonderful Service To Our Family during a most difficult time. I would recommend this Hospice to anyone who needs end of life care.
The best care available. Period.
