I have no words to say thank you My father's transition in the last hours of his life was excellent. the nurses, and the staff, in addition to the care of the beautiful building, are very good. Dr Gonzales is an angel that God put in my path, his compassion and empathy are unmatched. Thank you all and my father is resting and he left in peace and without pain

The fact that you are reading this and even considering putting your loved one here is shameful. If you truly care about them then take them home and do hospice at home. They will send nurses to do the same thing. If you don't care about them and are hoping to cash in on your inheritance quickly then you found the right place. This place is methodical implementing their system of legal euthanization. The "doctor" at the transferring hospital sent "do not feed" orders for a person with no problems swallowing. Our Mom was only at Gerstenberg Center for 2 days, but during her stay we were very impressed with the nursing staff, especially Mary, who were compassionate and caring and anticipated Mom's needs. The food looked good, what little I saw. The staff were very nice and informative to us. It's a very quiet, peaceful place. I highly recommend this center.

During this most difficult time everyone that works in this facility have been amazing. So caring, compassionate and comforting. The facility itself has a very peaceful feeling and is set up to accommodate families with family areas and a beautiful outdoor setting for breaks away from the room or to give other family members there time with their loved one. I am disappointed to see such negative reviews of this facility. When looking through the reviews, take time to consider that most of the negative reviews are older or written by people who clearly don't understand what Hospice does. My mom was a patient at this facility for a rather long stay. Over the 2+ weeks she was here, we only had one very minor issue with a nurse that was addressed the same day.
