Experienced Hospice in home with my sister and the care was excellent. Very professional and caring. Experienced care in the facility for my girls father and they were so supportive and caring to the family and to him. Also attended a support group for people that lost loved ones and it was very eye opening. Many were having such difficulty and they found out they were not alone and had support and understanding of others. Better understanding of what you may go through and help you feel stronger.
My dad was cared for by Doctor Voorhees through Palliative care and eventually transitioned from the hospital to the Hospice home where he lived for seven more days. The team was not only there for my father, but for the family. They take care of the family just as much as they take care of the patient. The care was exceptional.
