If you care about your loved one do not put them in the facility for a respite. They do not have your loved ones best interest. They will do your family member more harm than good. They also disrespect the family and their wishes.
i had a family member who stayed at this hospice place, and then sadly passed away 2 weeks later. she was dying of cancer. i visited her a couple times and they treated her pretty well. they nurses were kind and explained everything to us in a easy to understand way and they were very polite and open to any questions we had. i think this is a pretty good hospice place for a family member if they are living in hamilton. ❤️
Hospice of Hamilton made a difficult, challenging situation as pleasant and stress-free as possible with father . The facility is comfortable and has the best staff imaginable. Paul, Lisa, and a few others especially kind and helpful to all of us.They are true angels. I cannot begin to thank them enough! Paul was the best !!!we even said a kind word on my father's obituary...we want to thank hospis of Hamilton again
Please do not send your loved ones here. The biggest mistake as a family we made for our mom. It is not a sacred place to the faculty. They are not there for you. They are there to have fun and enjoy each other's company. They told & showed us that "death is just a thing" no big deal. When my mom passed the ladies at the front desk were laughing and telling jokes. One came to our room & it took everything for her to pull a straight face to say she was so sorry.
