If I could give this place no stars I would. My aunt went on hospice on Sunday and nothing has seemed to move the team at all when it came to her decline. Gary and Lauri were amazing. That’s all I can say. I am a hospice nurse myself and they did not carry out her comfort at all. It was a nightmare having to call so much and then they forgot to order meds and we had to go to a local pharmacy and then they didn’t have that med either. Amber was disrespectful & mean! She was bad on the phone & had no empathy. She should treat people nicer because it’s already tough having to call while your loved ones are struggling
If I give a zero I most certainly would!!!! Accused my 75 year old mother 0f faux pain,seeking quick relief...lack of empathy and to lazy to research history,she is a 5 year stroke survivor referred for failing liver was denied ,thank god another agency did their job found out she had stage 4 bone cancer plus much more and is now peacefully resting ...would not send my dog to these people for end of life care ..was upset now very thankful they are not involved with her comfort care!
I believed Hospice care for my dad would be the best thing to do since he was 95 and in and out of the hospital for rapid diuresis due to CHF, and after talking with the representative in the hospital decided that is what should be done. My father's nurse came once a week, but many times we had a different nurse as dad's was off that week. My dad complained of extreme heel pain on the leg that had a huge ulcer wound, and nothing was done except continue wound care with ointment. Frankly, the reviews I’m reading within Google are shocking. Part of the reason we chose to use Hope-Ft. Myers for our family member was because of the great reviews. Maybe these are for the facilities themselves, but our at home care team was without a doubt awful. One week in and our experience was so horrendous we had to switch to another company. They accepted our family member into the program directly from the hospital (after waiting 4 days for her to be seen) and transported her home without giving us an admission pac... read more
