Our sister spent the last week of her life at the Seigenthaler center. We were hesitant to move her there thinking that she would be better off at home with round the clock care. She wanted to go to the hospice facility and it was the best decision we ever made. The staff was wonderful, the care was superb and the facility was excellent. Our family was able to gather with her in her room and come and go as we needed to. The gentle nurses and help we all received, made her passing a beautiful experience.
Staff did a great job caring for my father during his final days. His nurses were very attentive, listened to his concerns and were very kind. Upon his death, they came and helped with getting him ready to go to the funeral home and were very supportive of our family.
We are new to hospice care and since we were never informed of how it worked this place in New Hartford gave us such a hard time and just put rules in our faces instead of helping us, do not recommend this place, very rude at times also!
