We called in Hosparus for my grandfather. The crew of workers that he had were truly angels on earth. The intake nurse, the actual nurse, the Chaplin, the social worker, every person who came to our home to care for him were truly so incredible and empathic and they really made all of the difference during this time for our family. My family and I will forever be grateful for them. Also, my dog Gemma made some new friends and adored them as well!
Worst hospice i have ever seen. Absolutely no communication. My mother is supposed to get daily visits and it has now been 4 days since her last visit. She went almost 2 weeks without a visit before. No calls to let is know that they are not coming. I have called and no one calls back. Pure neglect. This hospice is a joke. I have worked hospice for years and I have never seen this before. I would recommend everyone to look for a different hospice if they want good care for thier loved one.
Hosparus Louisville and Meade and Hardin County locations are negligent and atrocious! One nurse came to the house and began crying on my dying brother because he looked like her son! They would not answer evening calls and left my brother in pain and unable to empty his bladder because of incorrect dosage of medications. Evening customer service was dismal and rude. The compassion these workers show to the people in their care is truly remarkable. I've had 2 family members on hospice care and both of their care teams were amazing. They take the time you need to answer questions about the whole process. They have resources to help with grief and other emotions you will go through during and after your loved ones have passed on. The people who work for this company are angels for the work they do.
