I know I said I’d never do another review after that whole “Chinese fire-drill” situation. However the employees here deserve recognition for doing great work. I went to see the GERMAN SPECIALIST at Horst’s in Venice hoping they’d have time to help me. I met Alex at registration great guy, funny personality and automotive knowledgeable. Then, Neal the Audi tech, I’d like to apprentice with this guy. He’s very knowledgeable about Germans vehicles. And writes meticulous work notes, to advise of progress. Took my VW in for some normal service. I was asked to leave it all day. So I made arrangements to drop off the car and get picked up, and left the car all day. At 3:30 pm I called to see if the work was done. I was told that no, it was not. The technician went home sick and they would work on it tomorrow. OK, I understand people get sick but they should have communicated that to me earlier. You know, consider the customer. I needed the car the next morning for a one day trip so I had to rent a car.
