Step into the 21st Century Horsetown needs to step get with it! First of all, I purchased a pair of moccasins for my teenage son as well as a Carhartt cap. Total costs about $80. This place has it all if you have a horse They have a great selection of horse stuff, both english and western, clothes, boots, hats and tack. They also have a nice selection of gifts and if you need a place to put an advertisement to sell your horse, this is the place.
Good Store, Adequate Service, Trashy Employees Horsetown east is a good enough store. It's prices are fair and the selection is good. The knowledge of the staff is good if you are looking for equine products. The weak point is definately the front checkout, it si pretty unprofessional-the teenagers are often too busy with inside jokes and flirtations to engage with the customers as they ring them up without looking at them or barely specking to them. Don't try to exchange anything!!!! I used to think that this was a great store. However my last visit will be the very last time I set foot in that place. I had a few items that I need to exchange that I had gotten for Christmas. I didn't want money or a store credit (just exchange) I was referred to one women who clearly had a bad attitude from the beginning. Snellvilles Godsend-Horse Town East I have been a Horsetown East shopper for YEARS,after reading some reviews- People please learn how to READ the sign on the FRONT DOOR! And also-you want them to put out USED items back on the floor?Because I sure wouldnt buy USED items for MY horse! The staff is always helpful and nice-everyone has a smiling face. Good Western Store This store has a great selection of Western and English style clothing, boots, helmets or hats, and equipment. Their prices are reasonable, and their staff is friendly and helpful. They are located off of Hwy 124 in Snellville, GA. This is a great store to buy what you need for you and your horse.
Check out the return policy before you buy ANYTHING!!! Buyer beware if you're buying any type of feed or supplement for your horse. I bought a vitamin mix that smelled HORRIBLE. Of course, I didn't know this until I had spent $23 and opened it at home. My horse would not even think about eating it. When I tried to return it, expecting a store credit, I was told that nothing was wrong with the product, and their policy is not to make any refund/exchange for products unless the product is compromised (moldy, rotten, etc.).
