I took my young daughter in looking for a nice close contact saddle. Not only did the girl have terrible knowledge of saddles (I’m ok with not everyone having the knowledge, but admit that don’t tell me things that aren’t true like my 6yr old 50 pound daughter needing a 16 1/2), but she had a terrible attitude and was flat out rude. Save yourself some time and go to Equiventure where they were incredibly helpful and we walked out with a beautiful new saddle.
Business response:
Hi Kim - we're sorry to hear your experience at The Horse of Course did not meet your expectations. Thanks for taking the time to write a review; we value your feedback and take it seriously.
I ordered boots through HOC the first weekend of October. The first pair arrived incorrect and didn’t fit correctly. I had to chase Mary down to get a conversation. Multiple emails and phone messages left and finally a conversation. Mailed the boots back almost a month after receiving the incorrect ones (when we finally communicated to do so). Thought the correct ones were ordered January 27th, but apparently not. I had told Mary that I needed them in March so I could make sure they were broken in enough for an April show. T... read more
Beth is so knowledgeable, and she and her staff couldn’t be more helpful!💛🐴
The Lehigh Valley Dressage Association (PA) recently hosted a Bitting Seminar with Beth. We had a fantastic turnout for a talk that was both informative and fascinating! Can’t say enough wonderful things about Beth and her willingness to share her knowledge!!
Met Beth at the Region 1 GAIG Championships last weekend. Told her about my new horse, she told me what bit to use and was a huge help. New horse + new bit = big difference. Thank you!
Beth took time out from her busy day to recommend a curb bit for my horse just based on what I told her and it made a huge difference in the horse. Beth is always available to help and is so knowledgeable about her products. I highly recommend Horse of Course!!
Thank you Beth for your amazing analysis of our horses! Both horses are so much happier going into properly fitted bits that are appropriate for each of their personal issues. You are an absolute miracle worker! Thank you again for taking the time to come to our barn and fix’s these underlying issues that have hindered these two horses; They are completely changed and for the better! For those wondering if you might need Beth’s expertise, it would definitely be worth it to have such a experienced woman take a look at your ho... read more
Visiting the Horse of Course is always a treat!
Thank you to Beth Haist from Horse of Course and Sprieser Sporthorse for the outstanding seminar and consultation on bit fitting. It was so educational and interesting. I am excited to work on my dressage goals with bits that are a perfect and comfortable fit for my horse but also incorporate a range of factors that I did not even know were important until meeting with Beth. I’m hoping to get a seminar arranged with Horse of Course for our Kansas City crew also! Super job!
