I love Horrocks so much. Some of my favorite things: the spicy chicken panini, cheese samples, growlers of amazing beer, $0.99/lb Michigan apples, scarves, potted flowers, and the snacks aisle where I find something new to try every time. I miss working down the street from Horrocks but it's more than worth the trip from my home in downtown GR!
Is it really necessary to have a bar in the middle of the store that serves alcohol by the glass? It's a real turnoff for me to see people walking around the store with a glass of beer in their hand and (sometimes) a child in their cart. I never liked the over-emphasis of alcohol sales at Horrocks, but this "tavern" just might be enough for me to no longer patronize your store. I have many friends that feel the same way.
My go to place for produce, hot soup, and beer selection! The coffee is an added perk.
