Need an authentic Chevy/GM part? Save yourself the mistreatment and drive to the valley! My husband is a disabled veteran & retired mechanic, when he is physically able to work on cars he does for the fun of it. However, if you need any dealer parts, going to the only Chevy dealer on the mountain is as unpleasant as being bullied in high school! We recently purchased a GMC 1500 Sierra from Horne Auto Center, from start to finish the buying process far exceeded my expectation. We were pleasantly greeted by Richelle, she listened to what I was interested in buying and helped me get the truck that fit my needs. A 2003 GMC Sierra Duramax diesel had to have all its injectors replaced as they leaked diesel into the engine. It took 3 weeks for the injectors and related parts to arrive at Horne. The injectors were then replaced but after driving home the vehicle would not start. Horne then paid to have it trailered back to the them some 30 miles away. The start problem was diagnosed to be from a leaking fuel line. The line was replaced at no cost to the owner but a further check engine problem had to be corrected by correctly hooking up... read more
