Rip OFF City Watch this bunch. They tried to charge me 600 bucks to install a switch that was only 15 bucks and I installed myself in 30 minuites. The owmer called me after I made a complaint about this becasue I was not home at the time and my wide was. He tried to use the excuse that they use a standard flate rate book which I told him I know flate rate books because 25 years ago I was a mechanic in car dealerships. BEWARE - 100% RIP OFF This company is a complete rip-off. In 5 mins time, the HVAC tech found that it was a bad dual fan capacitor. It took him less than 5 mins to swap it out with a new one and my central AC unit was back working again. Then he whips out this book with prices and shows my that it will cost me $416.81 PLUS the $79 for the service call!! I told him to put the bad one back in and I'll just pay the $79 for him coming out. I went to the local HVAC/Plumbing supply store and bought the capacitor for $11.70. I put ... read more
JAD They were easy to contact through their website. They called right away, no waiting for an appointment. They sent a skilled technician to do an estimate and I knew right up front what it would cost and how long it would take. The office called me to let me know when to expect the workers and they were on time, did excellent work and were friendly and courteous. I am glad I finally found a reliable plumbing service! I will definitely call them again.
Rediculous Pricing I'm going to be as fair as I can. The gentleman sent to my home was professional, was respectful of the house. Ultimately everything start off fine, then he opened the book of flat rate prices. This company is insane. Here is my quote: 1900 water heater replacement, current price on a new Bradford white 40 gallon at your plumbing supply is about $430-450. Be ready for sticker shock with Horizon Services. On top of the dispatch /diagnostic fee, they charged me $378 to reset a toilet. I have replaced many toilets in my life and it normal take 20 minutes. If you do the math, they charged more than $600 per hour. I need to change careers.
