This review is specific to Dr. Steven Heitkamp in O'fallon, IL. I petitioned the court for co-parent counseling for myself and my ex-wife. I eventually had him removed due to unethical behavior. He refused to co-parent counsel and began offering legal advice. Fortunately he did this through an email. Of course the judge ruled his advice (via the Joint Parenting Agreement) was terribly wrong. I experienced uncontrollable anger and dishonesty from him. My advice - demand to record all sessions.
Good people. Down to earth. Use evidence based practices. They have a cool dog. Dr. Steve is intelligent, compassionate and chooses neat bow ties.
