Very professional I have tried contacts several times without success until seeing a dr at horizon. Now I am in bifocal lenses for astigmatism and see great! Other DR's told me they couldn't correct both. I would definitely refer anyone to them. Their front waiting area seems crowded but I was called right away. Too many times, only angry people write in. I was very satisfied and I'll be back!
The worst! I have been coming to the office on Sharon Amity road for at least seven years. I have a predisposition to glaucoma as it runs in the family(Mom had it) and I have one of the conditions leading up to it. Because it is a medical condition, my health insurance pays for the visit and I pay my co-pay up front at the initial registration. I have NEVER been seen on time for an appointment. Kelly in Contacts is Their Only Asset I am so MAD. We have gone to Horizon Eye care since 1988. We buy their contacts from them even though they are much higher because Kelly in contact dept is great and we are loyal. The exam is usually $190 and up if you want glasses and contacts. They charge a premium for contacts. When my daughter needed stronger lenses in her Kate Spades which we bought from Horizon for $500 they said they would charge $270 to put new lenses in. Why the wait? My wife had an eye appointment scheduled one year in advance. The appointment time was 1:10 p.m. We were finally able to see the doctor at 3:07 p.m. To add to the insult, no apologies were extended and the doctor was in the room for 4 and 1/2 minutes. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Under no circumstances will myself or my wife visit Horizon again. A total outrage of service along with a total disregard for anyone else's time. I should bill Horizon for our wasted time. No "stars" at all.
Great service and caring doctors! The staff at Horizon are great. They really care about your experience and the doctors are at the top of the field. The location is a little busy and parking can be tough, but overall great office and has other locations.
Awsome Horizon Eye Center is where I go to get my eyes checked, my presciption filled,and either my contact lenses or eye glasses from. I would recommend Horizon Eye Center to anybody with vision problems.
