The worst! I called to make sure medication I needed was approved and I was told over and over again it was. When prescribed by my doctor they declined it suggesting a different(less expensive) medicine. When I asked why, they said, “well it does the same thing”. I have contacted the employer about removing RX-Care as our prescription provider.
I have had great experience with US Rx care. Their review staff are clinicians who look out for the best interest of the patients.
I am a busy physician who can attest to the volitional efforts of this company and others like it to make it as hard as possible for doctors to complete prior authorizations for meds they have blocked. US-Rx Care does not participate in Cover My Meds, the most common online resource for physicians to complete this work and they do not allow completion by phone. This company has been the biggest nightmare to work with ever. They have denied my son’s medication because they feel like his dosage, which is based off his blood levels of hormone, is not what they would recommend. Mind you, my son’s body does not produce this hormone and requires this medication to function. They do not care. They will not help you.
