What I appreciate about Dr. Lelwica and her approach with functional medicine is the goal of healing our bodies from within, to get to the root cause, even at a cellular level to figure out and address what our bodies are lacking or needing. Dr. Michelle Lelwica has been providing functional care for me since 2017. She has helped me change my diet, exercise and nutritional supplements to aid with several events over the last years. Most important to me was a sleep problem I had since childhood, which is now gone!. I feel confident and satisfied with her guidance and care for my continued health. I met with Dr. Lelwica when I was on a brink of falling apart, mentally, physically, and emotionally. I went to my primary doctor who ran a bunch of labs and suggested that I went on an antidepressant or anti anxiety medication, I denied both. After multiple visits to my primary doctor for years of daily headaches, frequent migraines, extreme fatigue and a multitude of other issues I was having--I decided to bring it up to Dr. Lelwica who I saw for chiropractic care. She took me under her wing and told me to take a DUTCH test to see where my hormones were at.
