Alanna has been an incredible support to me. She helped me learn to set sustainable boundaries and how to maintain them. She helped me understand that the only load I need to carry is my own and that I no longer need to parent grown adult family members.
With everything that has gone on in my life, Alanna helped my wife and I to see the problems I've been through in life and marriage weren't always my fault. I had control as an adult, but not the physical and emotional abuse from my parents. And the sexual abuse was caused by the parents of the youth friends of mine not controlling situations.
