As for Dr.Varma, I could not ask for a more caring, understanding psychiatrist. I have been afflicted with Bipolar Illness and treated for 39 years. I am a patient of Dr. Varma who is an excellent psychiatrist, the best I have had the pleasure of working with over all of these years. She has managed to greatly decrease the dosages of my medications and only added a low dose of Mirtazapine. I give her much credit for not having to be hospitalized in any psych hospitalization.
