Posting on behalf of Hope centre client. This is a very serious review, with fully honesty reviewing a mental health intake nurse names Kelvin. I hope Kelvins manager is notified of this. Kelvin from HopeCenter BC, when intaking a client, asked personal questions as usual, but started to traumatize the client, when she wouldn’t give one exact answer to her mental health, as it varied in many aspects of life. I don't have a specific opinion about the performance of this set. My own experience in the short term wasn't bad and could be said to be somewhat acceptable.
This is not a helpful place, that's for sure. I went there some months ago in order to investigate what treatments are available at the HOpe Centre. I didn't really want to go there, but a relative told me that people with ADHD can get help there. So, out of a bit of curiosity, I decided to find out. Everyone I have interacted with here has been very supportive, empathic and helpful. The counselling at Primary Care helped with my journey of being a better human. The facility is clean, receptionists are efficient and pleasant, there’s a coffee shop, it’s quiet and comfortable. I’m sad for the people who didn’t have the best experience here, but I have no complaints.
