I am not writing this review as a client of Hope Awaits, or Stephenie as the wonderful counselor that she is. However, I am writing it as the person that has known her far longer than any person that walks this earth today. I happen to be Stephenie's big brother. My time with Hope Awaits Counseling was truly life changing. My therapist was there for me through so many difficult times in my life and I honestly don’t know where i’d be today without her. She helped guide me towards understanding that I am strong and capable of overcoming anything in life. With her guidance, I have accomplished things that I never thought were possible. Stephenie Malan, Hope Awaits Counseling, has been such a blessing to our family, especially our daughter. We really appreciated her down-to-earth nature, genuine care, and how much heart she puts into her work. She connected so well with our daughter and made a big impact in a short time. So thankful for our time with her! Highly recommend.
I cant say enough good things about Stephanie! 5 stars isn’t enough to give honestly! She has shown extreme patience & compassion to our son! She is extremely passionate about her work & it truly shows. She is full of knowledge and is always eager to learn and shares things with us which is really helpful when navigating the hard stuff with your child! We are so lucky to have her on our team for our son!
I have been seeing Stephanie for a long time now and I've never had a better therapist. I have never been good at being vulnerable with therapists but I trust her with everything. I can spend the entire session running my mouth and she never seems to be annoyed or tired with me. Not to mention the actual office space, I was offered coffee or hot chocolate first thing and the room where my appointments were is super cozy, not at all bland and sterile, with a comfy couch. I would recommend her to anyone.
