You shouldn't spike up any living tree, especially oaks for that matter. Big Shame
My neighbors have had work done twice by Hoover and both times their workers have driven heavy equipment across my yard repeatedly without so much as a knock on the door to ask permission. You can rest assured I'd never use them for my own tree work due to their complete lack of respect for property.
I would not give this company even a one star if possible. They did not show up on the day they were supposed to and didn't even call. They showed up 3 days later and didn't even tell me they were coming. They completely messed up my neighbor's backyard after both my husband and myself ask them not to do so. They promised to come back, fix it and never did. We had the foot that bill personally! They also destroyed the concrete pad I keep my trash cans on by driving their truck over. This company was awesome. Extremely reasonable pricing. They got done in one day what most places would have taken 3 days to do. Cleaned up everything and even attempted to save a bird nest full of babies
Our tree fell down during a storm and they came out the next morning and took it down and cleaned everything up and gave us a great rate! I was so impressed with their quick service and they were very friendly and explained my options with what I could do about the tree. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a tree removed or pruned! Very happy with my experience!
