Terrible appt. I made a same-day appt, the appt was at 1115, the scheduler informed me there was a 15-minute grace period, I arrived at the appt at 1120, during check-in in front desk asked me for a document that I was not informed I would need before making this appt. I asked if I can email the form, the Recep response was, " you're already late for the appt", My response was Im not late until 1130, it's only 1120. This hospital broke trust with us in so many ways. Our child has a needle phobia and has hypersensitive tissues, and we talked with the doctors and nurses about this multiple times before we went in, as well as during the check-in and pre-op process. But they didn’t listen and repeatedly lied to her: • We were told that both parents could be with her until she was asleep. DO NOT go to TCH ER THE Woodlands……1:30pm was our arrival, we just left. We were never seen. Continually getting bumped. And so the last person we spoke to as we were leaving, not sympathetic at all. (Chris felt like we were never going to be seen) And she’s telling me we have sick kids in the back. Mine has internal bleeding. I went in for a ultrasound recommended by my midwife and they recommended Dr. Barry. I gave them my insurance information thinking they would bill my insurance. NO. They charged me full price for a 10 minute sonogram with a tech. So I called my insurance weeks later after noticing they DID bill my insurance and and received payment from me AND my insurance Aetna. So now they have double the money. Hospital charges 13,000 USD for a simple MRI procedure, however, they can't hire right nurses. We went to COVID testing, and unfortunately nurses taking COVID test did not know what they are doing. They were like digging gold inside a nose. The nurse put that sampler insider a nose once, and said that she did not get sample and started digging even further until my daughter started bleeding and crying.
