Dr. Zidan has been our son's primary since he was weeks old and we've always had a great experience with him and the staff. A lot of offices can feel so impersonal, but they always remember the little details about our family and recognize us before we even fully make it through the door.
I believe they overbook and are therefore too busy to be accurate or thorough in their approach even for basic tasks like obtaining precise length and weight measurements. Furthermore, it is unacceptable to show up for a 2 month appointment and be told upon arrival they ran out of a vaccination we were scheduled to receive and have to come back for a separate visit. Dr. Zidan at Hoover Pediatrics has been wonderful with our daughter. He always takes the time to listen carefully to our concerns as parents, answers our questions thoroughly, and gives thoughtful, practical advice. We never feel rushed during appointments, and it’s clear that he truly cares about his patients and their families. The staff is also incredibly helpful and friendly; from checking us in, to getting us seen quickly, to helping with rescheduling appointments when needed. Both my newborn nephew and my 11 year old nephew are patients of Dr.Zidan. The most caring ,compassionate and professional doctor. He thoroughly knows what he is doing and can’t ask for more. There is also help through text messages at odd hours and weekends if kids get sick. His team has amazing staff. The BEST pediatrician in Hoover!!!
