literally the worst receptionist ive ever spoken to in my entire life. was met with absolutely no empathy and was told sentences like "you lack empathy" as well as "unlike you, i live in reality." this conversation was recorded. absolutely unprofessional for an office dedicated to helping clients mentally and emotionally to say this to u as youre trying to book your next appointment. treatment centers are not supposed to greet you with cruelty. not sure if this treatment center treats clients like this due to classism or if ... read more

For almost a year, the therapist I saw here did not provide me coping mechanisms. She told me to be mindful but wouldn’t explain how mindfulness worked or anything I could do to try and combat my thoughts. She was good at assisting to process emotions, but would not provide solutions even after communicating that I need direction. I then requested a psych evaluation. Kary Ream has been my therapist on and off for 5+ years and has helped me overcome addiction, an eating disorder, and severe trauma. She is the best! Highly recommend!

Underwent psychological evaluation on 11-08-2020. Did not receive a pdf or physical copy of the results until 10-07-2021. I understood there would be delays related to covid and I was very patient but, waiting nearly a year is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Throughout the 11 months waiting, I reached out to Hoover several times. They would assure me I would hear back from them soon but I never did.
