Hoot’s is seriously the best bar in the area 🖤 food is great, bartenders are awesome.
I love their fish sandwiches. The special with fries and coleslaw is really good. Sometimes when we go in late night we order pizza to eat at the bar. Another great meal and reasonable.
I got my food for pick up and my kids shrimp and fries were a soggy mess. The shrimp had lettuce underneath it which made the shrimp soggy and the fries looked old and not cooked. There was no foil to keep the food warm and crispy. I won't do take out again. 😣

You won't get fancy, you won't get fussy but what you will get is an amazingly good home cooked meal. This is bar food that your grandmother might have cooked. The waitstaff is sweet, kind, and happy(and very very busy). The soups, homemade chips and oven cooked roast beef honestly have me doing a double take at the prices. Hoot's is a Mon Valley gem and my husband and I are so glad they are minutes from our house.
We ordered lunch at my job yesterday. It was the best Rueben sandwich I've ever had and this was my first time trying your food. Will be back again!
