I completed my application on Dec 3rd, had to go through an appeal which was only supposed to take 48 hours but took closer to 1-1.5wks. I got "approved" and then was "under review" by compliance for almost 3 weeks. Melanie & the newer lady were as helpful as they could be but the problem seems to be that they are also not supported or offered any answers from their upper management. This place is a complete joke! I filled out my application Nov. 11th jumped through all of their hoops just for them to finally reject my application Jan 6th. I was even told the apartment was mine and that I was 96% through the process. I find it funny they rejected me because I make over the limit when another income based place I was in the limit.
I unfortunately my experience at Hoosier woods wasn't what I hoped it would be. The first apartment was very nice but upstairs and I had to move downstairs. That process was made difficult for me and in the end was given only one week before Christmas last year to switch apartments. It was very difficult as I am disabled and had one person helping me. Whether it was management or the rules I don't know but I wouldn't recommend Hoosier as a good pace for anyone who is disabled. If you do rent there make sure you get everythin... read more
