I ordered the lemon chicken and was surprised by how much chicken there was. Unfortunately it smelled and tasted like old grease, I had to throw the whole order out.
RecommendedAmazing menu, pleasant service, great drinks, calm atmosphere, cozy seats. I like this place quite a bit. My partner and I come here all the time for date nights and have never received bad service.
We miss you guys sooooo much! So sad you had to close during this time. We would have loved to place orders to-go at least once a week. Please consider reopening for take-out only ❤️
horrible service , very rude manager on duty , not good and do not recommend at all . I had the worst exsperienc last night here as I ordered a recommended dish by our server as it was our first time here and took one bite and did not like the taste and was told I will have to pay for it and if I would like to order another dish instead and still have to pay for the one that was nasty .
I went to Hoong's today for a late lunch and ordered Shrimp Chow Mein which is what I always order. I have been going there or 20 yrs and always order the same meal. After some time my order arrived. It was not what I'd ordered. I asked the server what it was and she said Lo Mein. I told her I had ordered Shrimp Chow Mein. She said that I'd ordered Lo Mein. Love this place. Been going here for years. Although portion size smaller than used to be lunch great value for the money
Too expensive for the small portion sizes – They recently cut the portion sizes in half by switching to small to-go plastic containers. $8.00 for lunch for a child's portion size does not represent a good value to me. I stopped going there.
Poor Attitude – My husband picked me up on my lunch break today and I had a taste for chinese. I regret ever happening upon this place. We walked inside and immediately we were asked to be seated which is the only thing I can say I liked about the experience. The food is great and the price is very reasonable. This is my favorite chinese place. I love the seasame chicken. It comes with fried rice, egg roll, and a cream cheese wonton. They also serve your choice of soup if you dine in. Atmosphere is very cozy and clean.
